1464 km solidarity run in 15 days
As part of a an extraordinary human and sporting adventure - a 1,464 km run in 15 daysfrom Limoges (87) to Vulbens (74) via Paris, to help children and adults suffering from orphan diseases or disabilities. Over such a distance, in sometimes extreme conditions, the choice of equipment is crucial. There's no room for guesswork, especially when you're working autonomously or semi-autonomously.
The trolley immediately made a name for itself thanks to the quality of its materials and its lightweight, modular and robust. I was equipped with an ultra-trail rucksack containing the essentials for the day (between 4 and 6 kg with water), while the trolley carried all the logistics required for the trip, approximately 18 kg. The X-Trek has proven itself to be a remarkable adaptability to all types of terrain and weather conditions : hot weather, driving rain, very low temperatures. It has never failed me.
Solid wheels have proved indispensable, eliminating the risk of punctures and ensuring a constant, reliable ride. What's more, its hands-free kit enabled me to adapt it to a harness for a better distribution of effort. I also appreciated the modularity of the Molle panelI've attached a tactical first-aid kit to it, and I've been able to add bottle holders to the poles, optimising weight management without weighing down either the trolley or my bag.
In conclusion, the Model X-Trek V3 was not just a piece of equipment. It was a real adventure companion, reliable, durable and well thought out. It allowed me to concentrate on the essentials: move forward, endure, and carry the message of the cause I was defending. An exceptional tool for extraordinary challenges.
Thank you for this concentrate of French ingenuity and robustness.
