"My biggest surprise was to discover that I could walk 9 to 10 hours a day without feeling the fatigue of portaging. When I stopped at the end of the day, I wasn't exhausted, so I recovered well and had a good night's sleep.

So the 900 km over 44 days that I had planned to walk turned into 31 days and 2 hours to get from Hendaye to Santiago de Compostela; an average of 30 km a day. At 69 years of age, that's still quite a feat, and it's thanks to the Tactical XIII trolley that I was able to achieve it!
