Designed to tackle the most demanding trails, puncture-proof tyres Model X-Trek are designed to provide long-lasting equipment for your hiking trolley. Robust and reliable, they provide stability, ride comfort and performance, even on uneven terrain.
Two versions are available, depending on your use:
- X-TREK for all types of terrain - 10 €/tyre
- X-ROAD For very long road trips - 20 €/tyre (+400 g on the total weight of the trolley)
What you need to know about tyre wear and maintenance
Tyre wear depends on a number of factors:
- the weight of your load
- the type of terrain: tyres wear out faster on tarmac than on tracks.
- how often you alternate between riding and carrying
We advise you to replace them as soon as the outside diameter approaches 24 cm. (generally between 1,500 and 3,000 km travelled).
What about the bearings?
Bearings also have a variable lifespan depending on use.
We recommend changing them after 5000 km.or as soon as an abnormal noise appears while driving.
Reconditioned wheels: a practical solution for touring
When your tyres need replacing, you have two options:
- Return of your complete wheels tyres and bearings: we replace tyres and bearings in our workshop.
- Shipment of reconditioned wheels If you're on the move, we can send complete reconditioned wheels (new tyres + bearings) to the address of your choice or by recorded delivery.
