I used the Tactical XIII trekking trolley during my recent pilgrimage on the Camino Frances, a journey of 800 km over 24 days.
During this adventure, I used the trolley in extreme conditions, carrying a total weight of between 26 and 30 kilos as I was completely autonomous. I'd like to stress that the trolley was an invaluable asset, making it much easier to transport my equipment over varied and often difficult terrain.
The ability to switch between trolley and portage mode was particularly useful. It allowed me to adapt to the different sections of the route, particularly the technical sections where it was impossible to ride.

I tested it on a walk lasting a few hours and was blown away by its stability, but the real test is still to come.
will be this summer!
I've already adapted a little: I've put little rings of rope on the sticks, to attach these
rings on the belt, I thought there was too much balan with the straps.

I used the Tactical XIII trolley during a 60km bivouac weekend in the Vosges, organised by the Vagabonds Association, which promotes the importance of sport during cancer treatment. I was very pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to use. When you roll it, you don't feel the weight of the bag. The belt that comes with the trolley is a real asset: it's very good quality and makes it even more pleasant to use. The relief for the back and shoulders is remarkable, so you can really enjoy the ride.

I use the X-trek on family outings, and it's a real relief for my back (thanks for him 🙏🏼). I can carry all my equipment and my youngest on my back on my own, which has radically opened up my range of possibilities.
It's light and manoeuvrable. The hands-free kit (hip attachment system) is comfortable and makes pulling natural, even on uneven paths. The wheels go everywhere: on stony paths, in the forest... It's even possible to guide it as a monowheel to get over an obstacle or to carry it with the back of the bag (shoulder straps and belts) facing outwards, putting my little one in front carry.
Finally, it's quick to assemble and takes up very little space when folded. I think it's solid, well thought-out and really functional, making it a great way to get the whole family out and about more freely!

I'm about to set off on a long 3-week trek, so I'd prefer to tell you the rest after that. So far, however, I've been extremely satisfied. Without any special training, I've beaten my own record with 40km done in one day with a 17kg pack.
So I'm delighted. However, I hope it will stand up to 3 intensive weeks. I also struggled to find the right balance between the length and width of the poles to attach to the belt. I'm also wondering if a harness wouldn't lighten the load. I understand you're working on a model at the moment.
I'll give you a much fuller report when I get back in early July.

Hello, with this version 3 you have given this trolley rigidity and the possibility of carrying it in a bag, for me this rigidity was missing on the other trolleys, moreover the possibility of dismantling and reassembling it very easily is really top, for hiking it is perfect, I find it more successful than the other versions, I love it.

We tested the version 3 trolley over a distance of around 300 km between Valencia and Toledo in Spain, on farm tracks with some difficult sections (15kg in total). Compared with version 2, we appreciated the rigidity provided by the metal chassis. Over the 300 km, everything went well except for a very stony climb where we had to pull the trolley with two people because its weight meant we couldn't put it on our backs. I'd bought a harness, but the belt proved sufficient for pulling in all situations: with the help of two
The only important thing to note is that the trolley needs to be balanced a little on the front. The only important thing to note is that the carriage needs to be balanced a little at the front, because if it's not balanced that way, it tends to tip backwards and it's impossible to walk in those conditions. A small auxiliary bag fitted on top of the main bag allowed us to fine-tune this adjustment. So all in all, we were very satisfied with the use of this trolley on a slightly stony path, it's solid, light and easy to use, and you hardly feel it on the flat.

The trolley has just completed the French Way of St James. It was a great success.
He braved the stones, the clay, the torrents, the stairs. I didn't carry it much.
Thanks again for your time.

After 3 departures, from Vézelay, Clermont-Ferrand and le Puy-en-Velay, my husband and I had to stop our pilgrimage to Compostela after 2 or 3 weeks, because of tendonitis or fasciitis! My doctor told me after my last attempt that hiking wasn't for me... After 2 years without moving (my pains were still bothering me), we decided to set off again to finish the French part we'd been missing, i.e. going from Lectoure to St Jean-Pied-de-Port. It was at this point that my husband saw a trolley for hikers on the internet: the Tactical XIII! Never, oh never, did we ever think we'd buy a trolley! Never say never, we ordered!
Once you've received them, make a few adjustments (height and spacing of the poles to avoid shaking) and off you go! And there it was: a fantastic surprise, with exceptional flexibility and manoeuvrability.
So we set off, confident, to do Lectoure/St Jean-Pied-de-Port! But it was so easy that we thought we'd just have to keep going! Against all odds, we were able to continue to St Jacques de Compostelle !!!! And that's thanks to Tactical XIII! It's so easy that sometimes, on the flat, you turn round to see if the trolley is still behind you, you don't even feel it! Only ONCE did we put it in 'portage' mode, for fear of damaging it, such was the ruggedness of the terrain! Once for 1080 km.... Another advantage is that the wheels are puncture-proof, so there's no need to carry a puncture-proof kit.
Such a prodigy does have its limits, however: on steep climbs, you can feel it, and on steep descents, it tends to want to push you, so you just have to hold it in place with the poles. In short, it's light, practical and comfortable. It's just as at home in the country as it is in the city, but don't forget to cushion the downhill slopes, because if you're going to travel far, you'd better be careful!

We set off on a two-day hike with our little dog Ozzy and took along the Tactical XIII hiking cart. The trail started out on wide gravel roads, then we had to cross snow fields. This is where the Model X-Trek's light weight really came into its own, as I was able to turn the trolley into a rucksack in a matter of seconds.

I've just come back from a 10-day trek in Corsica, with 144 km, 8100 D+, 7500 D- on the menu. A professional adventure for a book, with a mountainous, wild itinerary... I used the Tactical XIII trolley to lighten my back worn out (chronic lumbago) by years of portaging, to see what it had in the belly in a 'demanding' terrain like the paths of Corsica can be. Well, it turned out to be a pleasant surprise, as I was able to use it on some great sections of the route, despite the fact that the trails were often damaged (storms in 2023). The trolley proved to be very reliable. On the flat, it's a joy. Going downhill, it's really more comfortable and saves energy.

Very smooth running, stable and light. I'm very satisfied and ready to travel, finally relieved of the weight of my rucksack. Departure from Les Landes in every possible direction. The quality is there and it's very pleasant to use.

Just over 6 months after our return from Santiago de Compostela, you've given me the opportunity to give you some feedback. First of all, thank you for your speedy dispatch of the trolley that we received 2 weeks before our departure from Le Puy en Velay. We travelled 1,550 km (average daily distance 22.3 km) with the trolley without any problems, passing almost everywhere, that is to say carrying it only once on the descent from Rochegude, before Monistrol d'Allier. It has to be said that I avoided the stairs on the way out of Cahors and the big rocks on the way out of Conques by taking the road for convenience (so as not to have to carry it). We are very happy with the service provided by the trolley.
I had 14kg on the trolley (not including the 1.9kg on the trolley), which meant that I could carry more than if I'd had a rucksack and my wife could carry less. The benefits were mutual.

A lightweight, practical, 100% French hiking trolley that's easy to handle and, above all, easy to forget. These are the 5 words we're thinking of after a 2-day test ride in the Auvergne volcanoes.
The test conditions were varied: different types of road (tarmac, carriageway, steep single track, sand (pozzolana), narrow forest track) and relief (plain, hill and volcanoes) in wet weather (mud and puddles)...

We thought the Model X-Trek was great! Flexible, extremely light and easy to handle, it goes everywhere and takes a lot of pressure off your back and knees. We thought it would bounce around a bit, but not at all. We'd recommend it to anyone going hiking for one or more days.

After using the Model X-Trek for several days on my own, I'm very satisfied. It's easy to fit on your rucksack, lightweight, versatile on all paths and trails, rolls well on very stony paths with a steep gradient; for difficult sections, it's more practical to carry the pack on your back and retrieve the poles or change the route.

I've already covered 400 km since I left the village of Brézins in Isère on 25/04/2022. I'm now in Vauvert in the Gard and have 1600 km to go. I'm very happy with the Tactical XIII trolley, which allows me to walk without carrying a heavy bag on my back.

Our tour of Spain is over. We covered around 1600km on a wide variety of routes: tarmac roads, tracks with sand and small stones, and GR trails with steep slopes and overhangs. Everything went well. Well done for your concept!

My biggest surprise was to discover that I could walk 9 to 10 hours a day without feeling the fatigue of portaging. When I stopped at the end of the day, I wasn't exhausted, so I recovered well and had a good night's sleep.
