What's the difference between Model X-Trek Version 2 and Version 3?
Le Model X-Trek V2 is lightweight, compact and ideal for classic hiking. The V3is more robust and modular, suitable for difficult terrain and intensive use. Choose the V2 for its simplicity, the V3 for its versatility and durability.
How wide is the Model X-Trek?
The Model X-Trek is equipped with a adjustable axleThis means you can adapt its width to suit your needs and mode of transport. Here are the dimensions:
- Retracted axle with wheels Height : 50 cm
- Axle spread with wheels Size : 68 cm
- Retracted axle without wheels Height : 37 cm
This system makes the trolley particularly practical for transport (by car, train or plane) or when space is at a premium.
Do you offer a rental service for testing the trolley?
We do not currently offer a rental service.
However, it is possible to test the Model X-Trek in real-life conditions during an appointment at Miremont (63380)located around 45 minutes north of Clermont-Ferrand.

How does a group order work at Tactical XIII?
If you order two or more trolleys in a single order, an option is available to you from among the following:
- Passengers Soft
- Wheel axles in titanium
- Wide hiking belt
- Breakdown kit

Do you offer a bicycle kit for towing the trolley with a bicycle?
Yes, Tactical XIII offers a bike kit specially designed to tow your Model X-Trek trekking trolley behind a bike, on rolling terrain.
Lightweight and compactThis kit can easily be stowed away in your rucksack as you continue your itinerary on foot.
It allows you to switch easily between cycling tourism and hikingwithout bulky equipment.
Attention this kit is not not suitable for mountain biking on uneven terrain.

Can I return my trolley and get my money back?
Yes, you have a 14-day legal cooling-off period from receipt of your order to request a return and refund.
To take advantage of this offer:
- The trolley must be returned in perfect conditionNo signs of wear.
- The returns procedure may vary depending on the situation. To ensure that your parcel is handled correctly, please contact us directly before sending it. We will then give you the exact address and details of the procedure for your situation.
We invite you to contact us on 06 66 96 39 22 before any shipment in order to organise the return in the best possible conditions.
Attention If the trolley has been used and shows signs of wear, the refund cannot be made. In this case, we advise you to sell it second-hand.

What do I do if my trolley breaks or has a problem? Do you offer repairs?
Tactical XIII repairs all X-Trek models. In the event of break or wearThere are two possible solutions: return the trolley to the workshop after acceptance of a quotation for a complete repair, or receive the spare part replace it yourself if it's a simple job. In an emergency, a trolley can be shipped with return label.
To limit the risk of breakage, it is important not to exceed the following limits 20 kg and to respect its physical capabilities and to alternate intelligently between rolling and portage depending on the terrain.

Is it possible to test drive the Model X-Trek before buying?
Yes, Tactical XIII offers trials in real conditions of the Model X-Trek, by appointment, at Miremont (63380) 45 minutes north of Clermont-Ferrand.

What are the special features of the Model X-Trek Version 2 Évolution?
Le Model X-Trek V2 Evolution is an enhanced version based on customer feedbackcombining lightness, robustness and modularity. It incorporates a reinforced adjustable axle, the FEEL UP system to adapt the height to the bag (20 to 80 L)and puncture-proof wheelsa bib rigidand solid fixings and straps quality military. It's still very quick to assemble (< 30 s) and switch to portage mode (< 20 s)with a weight of 1.975 kg and a recommended load of less than 20 kg.
Le trolley can be customised and is compatible with a range of accessories (bike kit, Molle loops, titanium axles, etc.). It costs €380 (excluding options).
Le bagthe sticks and Soft pockets are not included.
What are the manufacturing and delivery times for a Model X-Trek?
Our trekking trolleys Model X-Trek are made to order in our workshop in Auvergne.
Production and delivery times: 3 to 5 working days.
All our products are only available on our website.
We remain at your disposal should you require urgent delivery or wish to track the progress of your order.
What should I do if my poles break or twist? How can I avoid them?
Le Model X-Trek is designed to be used in portage and rollingwith the help of walking sticks. It is robust, but to guarantee the longevity of your poles and the trolleyA few precautions are essential:
Respect the maximum load 20 kg: beyond this, performance is reduced and your poles may break.
Adapt the load to your physical abilities You need to be able to switch easily to portage mode when the terrain dictates.
Alternate intelligently between rolling and carrying Avoid pulling the trolley over unsuitable terrain (scree, stairs, overly technical paths).
By following these recommendations, the there is virtually no risk of breakage.
We advise you to use hiking poles aluminium because they are much stronger than carbon fibre.

If you're a handyman, you can also adapt thicker tubes, but be careful with the weightespecially in portage mode.
Can I use a second pair of poles in addition to those on the Model X-Trek?
Yes, many users of the Model X-Trek use a second pair of sticks This works very well and can provide extra comfort, particularly on technical terrain or over long distances.
The trolley is designed so that the weight of the bag rests mainly on the axlewhich significantly reduces the load on the hips and shoulders. on average only 10 % of the total weight is felt.
For example, for a 12 kg bag, you only feel about 1.2 kg: less than a bottle of water.

How long will the Model X-Trek last? Is it really robust?
The Model X-Trek touring trolleys are designed to be extremely robust and sustainable over timeeven in demanding terrain. All the parts of the trolley including wear parts, are independent and interchangeablewhich allows you to repair it easily and extend its lifespan ad infinitum.

- We offer a rapid repair or a standard exchange within 24 hours.
- If the breakage is linked to a manufacturing defectrepairs and postage are included in the price. fully covered by us.

What is the maximum load capacity of the Model X-Trek?
Le Model X-Trek is designed for recommended load less than 20 kg. This limit guarantees optimum performanceboth in rolling that portage.
Above this load, we advise you to opt for classic rigid trolleys (such as Mottez, Trollix or Radical Design) are better suited to heavy loads but are far less versatile.
Unlike these traditional trucks, the Model X-Trek is ultralight, compactand allows you to easily alternate between carrying and riding depending on the difficulties of the terrain.
This allows you to stay autonomousEven on narrow, steep or technical paths where a conventional trolley would not fit.
Sticks are not not permanently fixed They can be unclipped in a matter of seconds to allow you to retract the wheels and put the bag back on its back at any time.
When and how should I change the tyres on my Model X-Trek?
Tyres wear according to weight, terrain and use. Replace them when their diameter reaches 24 cm (around 2,000 to 3,000 km).
X-Trek tyre : 10 €
X-ROAD long-life tyre (+400 g): €20 - ideal for journeys > 2,000 km.
Wheels can be changed in the workshop (by returning the wheels) or on the road (reconditioned wheels sent where you want them).
What payment methods are available for ordering a Model X-Trek?
Tactical XIII offers several payment methods to suit your preferences:

Payment in cash only if you opt for a hand-delivered in Miremond.
Payment by cheque To be sent by post to our address. Payment is received before the order is dispatched.

What is the Model X-Trek warranty? What does it cover?
All the Model X-Trek touring trolleys are guaranteed 2 yearsexcluding parts subject to wear and tear. This guarantee covers all manufacturing defect or material defect, and is accompanied by a 7/7 technical assistance servicein the event of a problem while roaming.
Parts excluded from the warranty (normal wear and tear) :
- Tyres : to be monitored from 2,000 - 3,000 km. Plan to replace if the outside diameter approaches 24 cm.
- Bearings : generally to be replaced from 5,000 kmor in the event of abnormal noise.
- The protective flap (under the bag): its lifespan depends on your use. In fact, the bib will not need to be changed if you are careful and if you alternate with the portage mode when the terrain requires it.
All trolley components are modular, independent and replaceablewhich means that the Model X-Trek benefits froman unlimited lifespan.

Can you transport a dog with the Model X-Trek?
Le Model X-Trek was designed above all to transport of hiking bags. However, some users have successfully hijacked it to transport their dogdepending on the situation and the animal profile.
